ORDINANCE NO. 951
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 110.16 OF THE CODE OF FARMER CITY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FARMER CITY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. Supplement and Amendment. That Section 110.16, “RETAILER’S LICENSES; CLASSES AND FEES”, of CHAPTER 110: ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS, be and the same is hereby supplemented and amended to a new subsection (H) thereof, which such subsection (H) shall provide as follows:
(I) Class H: A caterer retailers license, shall authorize the licensee to serve alcoholic liquors as an incidental part of a food service that serves prepared meals which excludes the serving of snacks as the primary meal, either ono or off-site whether licensed or unlicensed. The semi-annual fee for such a license shall be $200. In addition to the foregoing, a Class H licensee may purchase a Sunday sales option for additional semi-annual fee of $50, which operation shall allow the licensee the right to serve alcoholic liquors on Sunday as set forth in. 110.40
Section 2. Effective Date. The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective following its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Section 3. Conflict. All ordinances or parts of ordinances which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
Section 4. Publication. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause this Ordinance to be published in pamphlet form.
This ordinance is hereby passed, the “ayes” and “nays” being called, by the concurrence of a majority of the members of the City Council then holding office at a regular meeting on the date set forth below.
