On Wednesday, August 17, State Sen. Chapin Rose will host a free Town Hall meeting in Farmer City. The topic is the state budget. He will explain how the state spends taxpayer money, what the revenues of the state currently are, what the stopgap budget passed in June means for the state, and what lies ahead for Illinois’ fiscal future. There will then have a question and answer session.
