Farmer City is a nestled in the center of Illinois, while a small town, Farmer City is in the center of the major cities, half way between Champaign and Bloomington and about 4 hours from Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis. Farmer City has direct Interstate access to I-74, it’s own power plant, with power after major storms for only a few hours while the sounding areas could be without for days. Farmer City also has it’s own racetrack, with stock, outlaws and other special events, that during the spring to fall brings out a large crowd to the day.
