- Executive Session – Personnel – to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, and/or performance of specific employees pursuant to Section 2 (c ) (1) of the Open Meetings Act, 5ILCS (c )
MOTION by Hawn to close open session and go into executive session – personnel. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
MOTION by Hawn to close executive session and return to open session. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
- Resolution 2015-11 – Appointing Sandra I Shaw to the position of city clerk until the first Monday in May, 2019
MOTION by Hawn to approve Resolution 2015-11 – Appointing Sandra I Shaw to the position of city clerk until the first Monday in May, 2019. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
- Resolution 2015-12 – Appointing Sharon Folkerts, Sally Bell and Jean Michaels to the Farmer City Public Library board of trustees
MOTION by Hawn to approve Resolution 2015-12 – Appointing Sharon Folkerts, Sally Bell and Jean Michaels to the Farmer City Public Library board of trustees. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
- Resolution 2015-13 – MFT for Maintenance of Streets and highways by municipality
MOTION by Hawn to approve Resolution 2015-13 MFT maintenance of streets and highways by municipality in the amount of $83,000. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
- Ordinance 949 – Regulating hours at all city parks
MOTION by Hawn to adopt Ordinance 949 regulating hours at all city parks. City parks will be closed from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Seconded by McKinley. Voted unanimously. Motion carried.
- Ordinance 950 – Amending Ordinance 857 – Adding Section 90.11F – Inspections Fowl or Poultry
MOTION by Hawn to adopt Ordinance 949 – adding section 90.11 F – Inspections Fowl or Poultry. Seconded by McKinley. Voting yes: Jenkins, Hawn, and McKinley. Voting no: Testory. Motion carried
